Middle School Ministries on Sunday Mornings!!

Young people today have a creative and engaged interest in the shape of their personality. Finding themselves and crafting an identity is informed by the many layers of culture, peers, academics, sports, family, faith and more. We want to provide a place where teens can explore the ancient stories of meaning and purpose that have been shaping lives for centuries. Our middle school programming is a great chance for your teen to add a layer of faithfulness to their emerging identity.

Middle School faith development is designed for teens from 6th - 8th grade. It is a three-year program that provides a solid framework on which to craft a lifetime of faith and human development. It begins SUNDAY September 13th 2009 and continues through May with a few breaks over the holidays. Each Sunday starts at 9:45 in the courtyard or lounge. All of God's World Discover Hour will meet together and we will branch off to our respective places from there. Middle School Curriculum will begin with a large group gathering in the Chapel and then split into small groups for a deeper discussion.

Geocaching

Wednesday, July 14, 1:30-3:30

Middle schoolers, meet at church to go on this crazy treasure hunt around town. It turns out that all over the world there are log books and “caches” hidden, and we can get the GPS coordinates to find the ones nearby us. We’ll find them, see what’s there, sign the book, take something with us and leave something behind. Please email me to let me know you are coming.
